Enjoyed the instructions for the cute little potholders. Will probably start working as early as now to give them away this coming Christmas and at the same time, sell them online (if ever I do decide to finally make my stuff available online.)
This is my first time to try this kind of hobby since I was planning to make my own personalize souvenir gift for my niece birthday and I was assigned to think of a token and at the same time the crochet that I made will serve as my labor of love and gift for her. The book are easy to follow and understand and there are samples in every task.
This has got to be one of my most favorite books. Why? Because you don't just read it cover to cover and walk away from it. It is useful, it is a resource, and I find myself referring to it time and time again. Crochet is a great tool to remind me how to do a certain stitch. The pictures are helpful and show progressive steps. If there is more than one way to do something, you can bet it is explained. All in all a good reference book to have.
I have always been wanting to learn how to crochet but I have no time to go to workshops or to ask somebody to teach me because of the schedules so I tried to look for ways to learn it on my own. This book is so helpful. It helped me learn how to crochet on my own. It discusses about the different types of potholders you can make through crocheting - the patterns, the designs, and how to do it. Although not really everything about the crocheting, but at least I now have a little idea on how to do it.
